Functions & Responsibilities of VNG Groups

• Provide learning opportunities to its members.
• Keep updated information about their members.
• Develop annual plan for social events and exposures.
• Promote VNG principles and values at the local level.
• Promote volunteerism among the youth members.
• Organize dialogues and discussions on different themes identified by the group.
• Advocacy initiatives at local, provincial, national & international level.
• Coordination with District groups and their respective provincial Parliament to contribute in the collective tasks.
• Arrange teleconferences to interact with inter-provincial and international youth dialogues to understand the national and global issues.
• To contribute in the strategic plan of VNG for youth development and provide policy input to the national policies.
• Be part of global movements for increasing participation of youth in democratic and political process.
